TEXAS — Visitors can stop by any of Texas’ state parks for free day-use entry on Nov. 3, Texas State Parks Day.
This tradition originated from the centennial celebration in 2023.
The Lone Star State is home to more than 80 parks and includes activities such as wildlife watching, walking or hiking, camping, bike riding, swimming, paddleboarding and more.
Additionally, new Parkland Passports are available to veterans free of charge and grant the cardholder free entry to all Texas State Parks.
For more information about the Parkland Passport, visit the Texas Parklands Passport page on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department website.
Texas Parks and Wildlife officials recommend making reservations online as parks will operate normally. Admission will be controlled by their established capacity limits. Fees will still apply.
