TEXAS — As Halloween draws near, you might be pondering ways to get into the Halloween mood.
Here are some events going on around Austin:
Panic at the Paramount, from Oct. 10 to Oct. 28, the theater will be showing eleven themed movies on five specific dates, ranging from cult classics, such as Nightmare on Elm Street and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, to family-friendly films like The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Austin Ghosts, throughout the month of October, participants can book tours starting at 8 p.m. nightly. On all ghost tours, their local history experts and tour guides will take guests to haunted locations throughout Austin.
Spooktacular at the Bullock Texas State History Museum. On October 25th, families can dress up and explore spooky science exhibits while enjoying live music.
The Gallery of Illusion: Sorcery, Spirits & Sweets at Chez Zee. On Oct. 31, you can head to Chez Zee’s annual Gallery of Illusions. A local magician and hypnotist will perform in a unique show, accompanied by a dessert bar and drinks.
UNDEAD: Haunted House of Dances at the Factory on 5th. Catch the classic ballet Dracula by Ventana Ballet from Oct. 24 to Oct. 31. Two shows take place each evening.
