Barbara Fox is a multimedia journalist for Spectrum News 1 Texas.

She was born and raised on the sunny beaches of northern California. After high school, Barbara attended Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science.

Barbara started her journalism career in 2022 in southern Colorado with the ABC affiliate KRDO13. She covered dozens of investigations and controversial political topics. In 2024, she decided to make Texas her home. She is excited to dive into the community and tell community stories.

When she’s not working you can find Barbara hiking, watching live music, and eating some good old Texas BBQ. If you see her out and about, make sure to say hi!
