ROUND ROCK, Texas — A third suspect has been arrested in connection to a shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in Round Rock last month where two people were killed and 14 were injured.

Keshawn Dixon, 18, was arrested in Killeen on Saturday, according to a post on X, formerly Twitter, from the Round Rock Police Department. Dixon was taken to the Bell County Jail.

He faces a charge of deadly conduct, a third-degree felony, with the possibility of additional charges.

Dixon is the third suspect to be arrested in connection to the June 15 shooting that took place at Old Settlers Park where people gathered to celebrate the Juneteenth holiday.

In late June, police arrested a 17-year-old from Manor and a “male juvenile” in connection to the shooting.

Authorities said the incident occurred between two groups when someone began shooting.

Police identified the two victims that were killed as 33-year-old Lyndsey Vicknair and 54-year-old Ara Duke.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
