TEXAS — Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Heart have reunited and are hitting the road this year for their Royal Flush Tour.

You’ll be able to catch the Wilson sisters and their bandmates in Austin, San Antonio, Lubbock or Houston.

Formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1973, the band produced a string of classic rock hits and albums throughout the ‘70s. Their debut album, “Dreamboat Annie,” yielded rock staples “Magic Man,” “Crazy on You” and the title track.

In 1977, “Barracuda,” the lead single from the band’s third album, “Little Queen,” was a hit, peaking at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s widely regarded as one of the all-time best rock songs.

Beginning in the mid-1980s, Heart moved away from the hard rock and folk elements of the ‘70s and scored several commercial hits including “What About Love,” “Never” and “These Dreams.”

Heart has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.

Perhaps most importantly, they are rock pioneers. The group was fronted by sisters Ann and Nancy when women-led rock groups weren’t all that common.

The band’s Texas tour dates are:

  • May 1 at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio
  • Oct. 2 at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock
  • Oct. 8 at Toyota Center in Houston
  • Oct. 10 at Moody Center in Austin
