TEXAS — The freshman quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, Arch Manning, made headlines Tuesday as he set a record at a charity auction.

The quarterback’s first trading card was sold through Panini America’s website Saturday for $102,500, according to ESPN. It is a record sale for any NIL-based trading card to date.

The record-breaking bid follows Arch Manning signing a multi-year NIL trading card deal with Panini America, according to reports from CBS Sports.

The winning card beat out Dallas Mavericks’ Luke Doncic which sold for $100,000.

While the young quarterback has yet to touch the turf as a Longhorn, Manning was the No. 3 prospect overall and is the son of Cooper Manning, nephew of Peyton and Eli and grandson of Archie.

All proceeds made in the auction will go to St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation in Austin, Texas.
