Pride Month is in full swing and there are tons of Texas events where you can celebrate throughout the month of June.
Austin
While Austin’s official Pride parade isn’t until August, there are plenty of businesses offering Pride-themed food, drinks, game nights, drag shows and more.
Pride Prom at Austin Public Library
Friday, June 16 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., APL is hosting a Pride Prom and this year it’s 1920s themed. Bring out your most Gatsby ensemble and dance the night away at this iconic event that will feature drag performers, the Queer Vinyl Collective and more.
Stonewall Rally at the Capitol
Austin Pride is rallying at the Capitol on the 54th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots on June 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to let their voices be heard on LGBTQ+ rights.
Drag Queen Bingo at St. Elmo Brewing
A South Austin gem, St. Elmo Brewing is hosting drag queen bingo with Austin-based drag queen Louisianna Purchase on Wednesday, June 21 at 7 p.m. The show is free and the Spicy Boys food truck will be there selling food. The Little Gay Shop, a market that sells goods from local queer artists, will also be there providing all things Pride merch.
San Antonio
This week is Pride Week in San Antonio, so there will be no shortage of events to attend!
Pride Week is from June 16 through June 22. Events include Night Out at the Zoo, Pride at the Park, Pride at the Pointe and San Antonio Book Festival's Get Lit, a literary event featuring LGBTQ+ author John Paul Brammer. Learn more about each event here.
The San Antonio Pride Parade will be held on June 24 at 9 p.m. There's no fee to attend and coolers, ice chests, food and drinks are allowed along the parade route. View the parade map here.
Pride After Hours Celebration at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is hosting two nights of Pride celebrations on June 17 and June 24 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. that include an after-hours splash party at the water park and live music, specialty food and drinks, dancing and more. Click here to browse tickets.

Dallas Pride events are bigger and better than ever this year, with many benefiting local institutions.
Pride Month Amor Eterno Concert & Festival
AARP Texas, the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico and the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas are hosting the Amor Eterno Concert & Festival to celebrate Pride Month. Saturday, June 17 at 5 p.m. at the Latino Cultural Center, enjoy mariachi ballads by the Juan Gabriel Mariachi, traditional ballet folklorico dance performances, a live DJ and food from local vendors. Pride Panel: The State of LGBTQIA+ Care
Pride isn't just about celebrating, but also advocating for those around us. Dallas Contemporary and Dallas Hope Charities are hosting Pride Panel: The State of LGBTQIA+ Care, a discussion about navigating LGBTQIA+ affirming care in the health care sector. The event will also include a free printmaking workshop. The event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 23. Learn more here.
