TEXAS — It's the race for what's arguably the most powerful position in Texas: lieutenant governor.

Incumbent Dan Patrick is facing a rematch with Democrat Mike Collier, who came within 5 points of beating Patrick in 2018.

Collier is down both in the polls and in fundraising, but he’s still confident that this rematch will have different results.

“I think [Patrick] thinks we’re going to win, and I think he’s onto to something,” Collier said

Capital Tonight’s Karina Kling interviewed Collier, one week before Election Day.
