UVALDE, Texas — School supplies for preK-3 through eighth grade students at Uvalde CISD will be free of charge for the 2022-2023 school year, according to Uvalde CISD parent-teacher organization.
In a partnership with Goldman Sachs and Education Products, a kit with all the necessary items listed on the district’s school supply list has been donated for each student. The kits will be sent directly to school campuses and be available at the Meet the Teacher event in August.
Anyone still wanting to donate to the school district can do so on an Amazon wishlist.
The next Uvalde CISD PTO meeting will take place on July 19 at the Benson Cafeteria at 6 p.m. If you can’t make it in person, a Zoom link will also be sent out prior to the meeting.
