The old facility has served Austin residents for more than 40 years. It had deteriorated and was no longer meeting the needs of the growing community. The new facility has 33,000 square feet of space for recreation, public health services, educational programming, and more.

The new center is not yet open to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic, but people can view photos of the facility on the project’s website.
