PFLUGERVILLE, Texas – Call it a scratch that led to a lot of scratch. A Pflugerville resident is $1 million richer after winning a top prize in the Texas Lottery scratch game $200 Million Cash Explosion.
According to Texas Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased at Hutto Grocery Store.
The winner wishes to remain anonymous.
This was the last of eight top prizes claimed in the $200 Million Cash Explosion game, which offers more than $205 million in total prizes. The odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.91, including break-even prizes.
Texas Lottery reports that since 1992, games have generated $31 billion for the state, and $25.8 of that has gone to support public education. Winners have claimed $66 billion in prizes.
