AUSTIN, Texas — It's been a big balance between campaigning and the coronavirus for candidates in the July 14 runoff election.
That rings true for the Democrats seeking their party's nomination for U.S. House District 10.
Pritesh Gandhi is a primary care physician and Mike Siegel is an Austin civil rights attorney. They both want the chance to take on longtime Republican Congressman Michael McCaul in the fall.
The district stretches from Austin to the Houston suburbs and national Democrats are targeting the race after Siegel narrowly lost to McCaul in 2018.

Early voting for the runoff begins June 29.
