A repeat of above-average warmth and sunny skies returns for our Tuesday. Expect highs to be in the mid 80s with low humidity. Tonight will be quiet with cool lows in the upper 50s.
Wednesday will be the most "active" day of the week for us here in Central Texas. A dry cold front will sweep from northwest to southeast across the state during the afternoon, increasing winds to 10-20 mph with gusts to 25 mph, and surging our temperatures to the mid 80s. No rain is expected from this front, despite the need for rain across the state.
Cooler air settles in behind the front, giving us closer to normal temperatures Thursday and Friday. Both days will feature wall-to-wall sunshine with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Temperatures will surge back to over 10 degrees above normal by the weekend as we await our next area of low pressure that is likely to bring us a chance of showers Sunday and especially Monday.
