AUSTIN, Texas – While much of East Austin is changing, one restaurant that opened 70 years ago is still going strong.
Cisco’s Restaurant in East Austin is one of the oldest restaurants in town. Matt Cisneros says his grandfather started the restaurant in the 1950s.
In addition to creating this Austin staple, his grandfather was also the man that made “Huevos Rancheros” famous.
