TEXAS – November 18 marks the 20-year anniversary of the Texas A&M bonfire collapse. Twelve people were killed in the tragedy but while crews were working to remove the logs, they thought there would likely be 13 deaths.

John Comstock was supposed to be the 13th person but he not only survived, he’s thrived in the 20 years since the collapse. Now, he’s the subject of a new documentary about the collapse.

Comstock joined Spectrum News Anchor and In Focus Host Dr. Nicole Cross to talk about the film, “The 13th Man,” and what it was like being trapped all those years ago. You can watch the interview above.

The film premieres Friday and will be in Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio theaters this weekend.
