ROUND ROCK, Texas -- In Minor League Baseball, every team gets a home game either on July 3 or July 4. It’s one of the biggest nights of the year for teams and that is definitely the case for the Round Rock Express.
“We’re expecting 12,000 people,” Express President Chris Almendarez said. “It could be one of the biggest nights in our 20 year history.”
Since the Express hit the road on Thursday, they had their Independence Day celebrations on Wednesday. It was night full of American pride, family, baseball and fireworks.
After the game, the teams puts on its biggest fireworks show of the season.
