AUSTIN, Texas – The 2019 Austin Auto Show took over the Austin Convention Center during the weekend.

  • Largest showroom in Central Texas
  • Clint Harp from HGTV made an appearance
  • Black Panther was available for photos each day

It featured more than 200,000 square feet of new cars, trucks and SUVs.

Four outdoor Ride & Drive events took place and included Toyota, Mazda, Ford and Chrysler-Jeep-Dogde-Ram.

The show is known as “the largest showroom in Central Texas.”

“A sharp focus on creating an atmosphere that appeals to a wide cross-section is what has continued to drive attendance to the show” Auto Show Committee Member T. Harper said.

On Saturday, popular craftsman Clint Harp from HGTV’s Fixer Upper made an appearance. Other attractions included the Ford Mustang Monster Energy NASCAR Cup car driven by Joey Logano and a Chevy Camaro SS Funny Car driven by Robert Hight.

Kids were not forgotten, as Marvel’s Black Panther made an appearance on Saturday and Sunday and was available for photos all day.

“Austin is very beautiful but no place is home to me than Wakanda.” Black Panther said.

The car show was powered by Spectrum.
