AUSTIN, Texas – Former first lady Michelle Obama will be in Austin for the second leg of her Becoming book tour Thursday night.

Austin is one of Obama’s 21 stops on her international tour to promote her memoir. In the book, Obama talks about growing up in Chicago, the challenges of being a working mom, and being the first lady.

The last time Michelle Obama was in Austin, she spoke to a packed room at South By Southwest.

Obama’s Thursday night event, "A Conversation With Michelle Obama," is expected to be crowded, but seats are still available at the Frank Erwin Center. The event kicks off at 8 p.m.

So far, Becoming has sold almost 6 million copies.
