EMS reported the pepper spraying incident around 10:13 a.m. In a letter sent home to parents, school officials said a student sprayed pepper spray in the hallway.

“It’s kind of scary that pepper spray came into the school, I mean it could have been something worse, I know that kids will be kids, but, a lot of these kids could seriously be hurt. I know there’s a lot of asthmatic kids, there’s underlining stuff,” said a student’s aunt, Shelly Sanders.
