AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas mascot Bevo is celebrating his fourth birthday by donating money to a youth learning program.
The mascot is raising money for the Neighborhood Longhorn Program, which provides academic help for 5,000 disadvantaged youths.
The Bevo Fan Club is donating proceeds to the program. Participants can help by signing up for the Bevo Fan Club where they will be prompted to make a donation.
One-hundred percent of the money donated will go to assisting underprivileged students go to their dream college.
