CEDAR PARK, Texas — The Cedar Park Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting at an apartment complex.

On Sunday at around 9:15 p.m. police received a call about shots fired at Lakeline Villas Apartments on 2201 South Lakeline Boulevard. They received a second call saying a man had been shot. When officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Austin Burroughs dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say Burroughs had pulled up to the apartment complex in a car with a woman in the passenger seat. When Burroughs stepped out of the car, a man shot and killed him.
Burroughs was an active duty member the U.S. Air Force.
The suspect is described as an average height black man with a thin build. He was wearing an orange or red hoodie and dark sweatpants. He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
