AUSTIN, Texas — Ten people are displaced after a fire at a North Austin apartment complex.
According to the Austin Fire Department, the fire started around 6 p.m. Tuesday at the High Oaks Apartments.
Firefighters were able to get it under control and the fire was confined to the chimney and attic. Three apartments were damaged during the process.
No one was injured. Firefighters said the fire was an accident due to a failure in the chimney flue. It caused about $200,000 in damages.
