AUSTIN, Texas — After a breakout junior season, Texas receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey is leaving UT and entering the NFL draft.
Humphrey announced his decision on Twitter, in the wake of his thousand-yard season and honorable mention Big 12 recognition.
“I'm going to represent UT on and off the field as I move forward in my career to take care of my family and all the communities that i can! Hook ‘em horns for life!" he said in the post.
Texas finished ninth in the Associated Press poll. That's their best final ranking since 2009, when they lost in the BCS title game.
The Longhorns recently defeated the University of Georgia Bulldogs in the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl.
