AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police have identified the body of a woman found in East Austin on New Year’s Eve.

The body has been identified as 23-year-old Nicole Diane Coleman.

On Monday a bicyclist riding near the 7000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard found her body in a field.
Police say she was nude and her body showed obvious signs of trauma.
The Travis County Medical Examiner has ruled the death a homicide. Officials are not releasing the manner of death at this time, due to the ongoing investigation.
