AUSTIN, Texas — For those looking for a family-friendly event that benefits local children in need, the Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade will march down Congress Avenue on Saturday morning.

- Restaurant accepting toy donations until December 10
To honor the 30th anniversary of the parade, Chuy’s wants to collect 30,000 toys for Austin Police Department’s Operation Blue Santa.
“It can be anybody that's affected," Parade Director Brooke Cox said.
The parade is Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon and starts at the State Capitol, which is located at 11th Street and Congress Avenue. If you aren't able to attend, you can still donate gifts to your local Chuy's restaurant until December 10.
