Scream Hollow Wicked Halloween Park
Scream Hollow is nestled among 20-acres of dense forest off Highway 304 in Bastrop and just miles from the site of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, offers four separate attractions on site: The Mansion of Terror Phantoms, Zombie City: The Factory, Wicked Darkness: The Maze, and the new Slaughterhouse – Virgil’s Last Laff! There are 18 buildings total.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Film Tour
Visit the actual set locations from the 1974 version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003/2006 films. The tour is approximately 7 hours long and allows people to pick up lunch at the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre house that is now a full restaurant.

Haunted Halloween Trails at Pioneer Farms
Creepy scarecrows, ghost stories and all things scary will be featured at this annual event. This year’s event features three separate spooky trails each night, one for young children, another for those who want spooky surprises (PG-rated), and a scary trail for the adventurous.

Boo at the Zoo
For the month of October, Austin Zoo has become a spooky Halloween town. Guests are encouraged to dress up and ride around the park on a haunted train to check out nocturnal animal exhibits. The peacock barn has been transformed into a haunted mansion that guests can tour.

Barton Hills Fall Festival and Corn Maze
Take a day trip southeast to Bastrop to explore the Lonesome Dove Maze at Barton Hills Fall Festival. The festival has multiple corn mazes to get lost in–the largest of which can take up to an hour to complete.
