AUSTIN, Texas — One man is in custody after a SWAT situation in South Austin Thursday. 

According Austin police, at 11 a.m. the Lonestar Fugitive Task Force came to an apartment located int the 1800 block of Stassney Lane to serve a warrant for 27-year-old Luis Ernesto Aguilera-Pantoja. He had three felony warrants out of Hays County; two for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one for deadly conduct, discharging a firearm.

When they tried to arrest him, he barricaded himself in his aparment. APD called in a SWAT unit and a three-hour standoff ensued. Police blocked off the road because they were concerned Aguilera-Pantoja was armed and dangerous.

At 2:15 SWAT entered the apartment, found Aguilera-Pantoja in his bedroom and took him into custody. No one was injured during the incident.
