AUSTIN, Texas – A man has died in a Del Valle crash near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Tuesday.

According to Austin/Travis County EMS, crews were called to the scene of a crash around 12 p.m. in the 3800 block of East State Highway 71.

Glenn Christopher Lewis, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene in the single-vehicle crash. 

Firefighters are working to clean up fuel spilled during the crash. 

Drivers are asked to avoid the area east of Farm to Market 973. At this time Austin police said all of westbound 71 to State Highway 130 is shut down.
