WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas - Workers on Tuesday located another chamber near the entrance of the cave under Cambria Drive.
Crews were exploring an air pocket that was discovered while drilling for core samples. It’s believed the chamber is approximately 20 feet below street level and has a gap of about nine feet to the floor of the chamber.
It’s not known if the chamber is connected to the cave or is a different chamber.
Next Week, Williamson County anticipates having core analysis results back to determine the strength of the material above and around the cave.
