ROUND ROCK, Texas -- The man accused of kidnapping two Round Rock girls in December has pleaded not guilty.

A grand jury charged Terry Allen Miles with two counts of kidnapping earlier this month.

Police found Miles with two girls in Colorado last month, weeks after finding the body of the girls' mother, Tonya Ellen Bates. If convicted, Miles could face life in prison.

Miles has been named a person of interest in Bates' murder.
