AUSTIN, Texas — Police are investigating a bank robbery in Northwest Austin.

According to police, at 9 a.m. the suspect entered Prosperity Bank at 3401 Northland Drive, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 45-50 years of age, with a medium build and is between 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie with a hat underneath, sunglasses and dark pants. He fled on foot heading sounthbound on Balcones Drive. 

This is the second bank robbery at this location since Feb. 1. The suspect in that robbery is described as white, in his 40s, 5 feet tall with a medium build and clean shaven. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, baseball hat with a curved bill, reflective sunglasses, black pants and dark tennis shoes. 

On Jan. 25 a nearby Chase Bank was also robbed. The suspect in that robbery feld on foot.
