AUSTIN, Texas – Authorities are investigating a bank robbery that occurred early Saturday afternoon at the Austin Telco Credit Union located at 13831 North U.S. 183.

Police said the robbery happened shortly before the bank closed when a suspect walked up to a teller and demanded money.

Authorities said the suspect did not show a weapon and the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money and he left.

There were people in the bank but police have not said how many.
