HAYS COUNTY, Texas - A new school opening in Hays County means new attendance zones for students.

The district's 14th elementary school will open for the 2018-19 school year. In order to fill it, new zones have been proposed.

Students living in each zone will attend the school assigned to that area. There are exceptions for students placed by enrollment caps or a special program, or if they attend a magnet school.
