CANYON LAKE, Texas — Two groups are making one Canyon Lake boy's dream come true.
Seven-year-old Bryton suffers from mitochondrial disease, a chronic illness that causes physical disabilities.
On Thursday, Make-A-Wish and SouthWest Water Company surprised him with plane tickets to his favorite place — Alaska.
"The wish recipients are always so excited and so grateful and families are always so energized and happy with what's going on. It's just very fulfilling both individually and as an organization to be able to assist in this way,” said Gary Rose with SouthWest Water Company.
The water company is paying for the entire trip.
