DURHAM -- Duke Hospital's Life Flight operations are expected to resume Monday.
They were put on hold after a helicopter crash took the lives of three crew members and a patient on Sept. 8 in northeastern North Carolina.
A Facebook post for Duke Life Flight reads: “We as a team simply cannot convey how thankful we are for all of the love, prayers and support that has poured in over the past two weeks. We believe that Jeff, Kris and Crystal would not want us to sit idly for too long, and as such we announce that we will be restarting flight operations tomorrow morning. We do this to continue our mission, and to honor our friends by continuing their legacy. They, like Mrs. Bartlett, will never be forgotten. We will endure, we are #dukestrong.”
