History of The Rag Newspaper Honored with New Book

AUSTIN, Texas — An event will be held tonight to celebrate the release of a new book on the history of The Rag.

The Rag was an iconic newspaper in the 60s and is known for helping make Austin “weird” and sparking a political and cultural revolution in the city.

The new book features more than 100 articles from the Rag's 11-year history.

Tonight's event will be held at BookPeople, 603 North Lamar Boulevard, starting at 7 p.m.
