AUSTIN, Texas — It's been 25 years since one of Austin's most famous unsolved mysteries shocked the city.

On this day in 1991, four teenagers were killed at a North Austin yogurt shop.

It all started when an Austin police officer noticed a fire coming from the I Can't Believe It's Yogurt shop.

When the fire was put out, the bodies of four teenage girls were found inside.

All were bound and gagged with their own clothes and each victim had been shot in the head.

Two men were found guilty of the crime, but charges against them were later dismissed, due to lack of evidence.
