Darien Lake Sold to New Owners as Part of $456 Million Nationwide Deal

CORFU, N.Y. -- Darien Lake is getting a new owner.

Kansas City-based EPR Properties says it's buying Darien Lake and 14 other amusement and water parks nationwide, as well as a California ski resort and a few other properties, from CNL Lifestyle Properties.

The deal is worth about $456 million and is expected to close in the second quarter of next year.

Darien Lake didn't immediately return a request for comment.
