SAN ANTONIO -- Career Point College has closed its doors in San Antonio.

Students and teachers were informed through a letter Sunday from president and CEO Larry Earle.

The school is closing after management found out three employees violated the rules related to student aid funds, the San Antonio Express News reported.

School officials reported the incident to the Department of Education and planned to pay back the funds.

The department rejected that plan and will not allow the school to receive government funding.

The school is now trying to help students transfer to other schools.

No word if this just affects the San Antonio campus.
