TRAVIS COUNTY—A Travis County Deputy will not face charges related to a shooting last August.
On Thursday, a grand jury decided not to return charges against Deputy Reuben Garcia. Last August, Garcia shot Michael Alegbeleye while investigating a robbery in North Austin.
Alegbeleye survived and faces several felony charges related to the robbery.
