AUSTIN—Lake Travis is nearly 100 percent full for the first time in six years, according to recent data from the Lower Colorado River Authority.

The 65 mile long reservoir in the Colorado River in Travis and Burnet Counties suffered through a drought over the past decade. Low levels caused boat ramp closures and business in the area to struggle. Other reservoirs in the state are enjoying higher water levels. The Texas Water Department Board says the reservoirs they monitor are nearly 90 percent full.
