Austin Police are investigating two murders that happened this week.
That brings the city's homicide toll to 20 this year.
Murder No. 20 happened Thursday morning in South Austin.
Police found Richard Rosenberg, 59, with shot gun wounds near a storage facility at Woodhue Drive and Matthews Lane.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Nobody has been arrested.
Murder No. 19 was first considered a possible auto-pedestrian crash that happened Saturday.
Police say witnesses saw a car flee after hitting Thomas Brewer on East Cesar Chavez Street.
Investigators believe Brewer, 33, got in a fight with two other people before he was hit.
The Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled his death a homicide.
Police have a suspect in custody on unrelated charges.
Austin had 22 murders by this time last year.
