A local barbecue spot is suing a Georgia company for trademark infringement, according to the Austin Business Journal.

Salt Lick Barbecue claims that the Salt Lick Sausage Company's website is too similar to be a coincidence.

The Austin company says Salt Lick Sausage is using marks and graphics that strongly resemble its own website, and stands to benefit from its international reputation.

Salt Lick opened its Driftwood location nearly 40 years ago.

Since then, they've expanded to Round Rock and at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

In the lawsuit, Salt Lick doesn't ask for money.

They do ask the Georgia company to change its name and get rid of any material that resembles the Texas brand.

Salt Lick is also asking for ownership of the other company's domain name.
