ORLANDO, Fla. — A new store opening Friday at Universal Studios Florida will be a tribute to the iconic film “Jurassic Park,” which marks its 30th anniversary this year.

The seasonal merchandise location features multiple rooms that take visitors through the process of making the 1993 film, with replicas of props, storyboards and models.
The exterior of the tribute store will also reflect the behind-the-scenes theme with scaffolding, lighting equipment and banners that read, “The Making of Jurassic Park.”
In the first room, visitors come face-to-face with a large model of a Tyrannosaurus rex head. There’s also a section made to look like a production office with sketches, file cabinets and other equipment.
Another room leads to Sound Stage 28, which features a recreation of the Velociraptor kitchen scene.
Other rooms in the store also feature recreated scenes from the film, including the T. rex in front of the paddock.
Throughout the store, visitors will find plenty of “Jurassic Park”-themed merchandise, including hats, T-shirts, mugs and more. The last room features a display of retro merchandise and themed treats.
