Emily Borchard is a meteorologist and traffic anchor with Time Warner Cable News Austin and San Antonio, joining the team in 2014.
Emily grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was interested in weather at a young age. She was afraid of thunderstorms growing up, so wanted to study meteorology to understand why storms become violent and dangerous. Emily has a Bachelor of Science in meteorology and a minor in communications from Texas A&M University.
Emily started her TV career in her hometown of Corpus Christi at KZTV, and then headed out west to Midland/Odessa where she was a morning meteorologist at KWES-TV.
When she's not forecasting or tracking traffic, Emily is relaxing with her fiancé and pekapoo, Bella.
