WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A Wake County family is working to combat hunger in an original way.
The Smith Family has started donating their left overs to those in need in Wake County, and they’ve inspired other to do so also.

"The Lord spoke to me and said look, don't throw away this stuff,” said Princess Smith. “Invite people. So really we’ve extended our dinner table to those on the street in Wake County.”
