KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Kernersville Police Officer Sean Houle is still hospitalized after being shot in the line of duty on Feb. 21.

While Officer Houle still remains in critical but stable condition, the community is rallying to support him and his family in a multitude of ways.

Pawlee’s Doggie Bakery and Natural Pet Market are one of the many businesses doing what they can to help. They are making police-themed dog treats as a fundraiser and 100% of the profits will go to his family.

Owner Jennifer Mckay says doing the fundraiser was a no-brainer for them.

“I think I speak for all businesses and individuals involved in raising money, that it is so easy to do because folks that are here for us no matter what, and within a matter of minutes, we should be there for them in a time of need," Mckay says.

The bakery has a limited quantity of police-themed cookies, so they’re asking that people who want to purchase a large quantity place an online order. You can do that by clicking here.
