COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close SC 560 bridge over Bush River in Laurens County starting Sept. 25, 2024.

SCDOT officials say the closure is neccessary to complete repairs which are expected to last a month.

As part of the closure, a detour route will be put in place. The road will only be open to local traffic during the closure except for the bridge site.

SCDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention when driving through the work zone. You can plan your route ahead of time by using SCDOT's 511 SC app or by visiting 511sc.org.
