COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Riverbanks Zoo and Garden Wild Lights holiday display has been ranked the eighth-best zoo light display in the country by "USA Today."
This is the Zoo's second year putting on the light display.
"Wild Lights is a holiday tradition with an emphasis on nature and conservation. Over 60 colossal lanterns recreate flora and fauna throughout the world, including insects, plants, and endangered and extinct animals. Both educating and entertaining, these immersive experiences are illuminating in more ways than one." Said USA Today.
In addition to the traditional light shows, guests can also take a train ride, meet Santa, and snack on s'mores and hot chocolate.
Wildlights will be operating through January 12th. If you'd like to see one of the best zoo light displays in the country, click here.
