Search and Rescue teams in the North Country are back out today on Black Lake, a day after recovering the body of a young woman, believed to be a missing 13-year-old snowmobiler.

Larissa Redmond and her father David were reported missing over the weekend, after taking a snowmobile ride Friday night.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's office tells Spectrum News that search teams located two helmets and identified snowmobile tracks on Black Lake Monday afternoon.

The search continued yesterday, and that's when they found a body, believed to be Larissa. Her father David is still missing. The snowmobile also has not been recovered.

The sheriff's department believes the pair likely tried to ride out onto the lake and fell through the ice.
